Ashford & Pierce was founded in Boston by Julian Ashford and Elena Pierce after careers spanning strategy roles in industrial and healthcare boards. The firm remains partner-owned; we have not taken outside capital and do not maintain a generalist analyst bench.
Each mandate is led by a partner who attends every steering committee, drafts every board readout, and remains available between sessions. That structure is expensive to operate—and intentional.
